Springfield Dolls Review

As you may already know, my little princess turned 2 years old last month. Since this is the first year she is really able to understand anything, I wanted to make sure that she had a great celebration.

Now for the last 6 years the only kids birthdays in this house were for my son and for her first birthday. Boy toys and infant toys are much easier to choose. This year I had to find great gifts for a 2 year old(going on 13). That is not as easy as it might seem, especially when my daughter already has so much stuff.

She also is still unable to tell me exactly what she wants as older children can, so it makes it even harder. I know the kinds of things she likes, but she has so many already. You can only have so many stuffed animals and baby dolls.

I decided it was time for her first "Big Girl" doll. I wanted to get her something that was beautiful, but also practical. I was not prepared to get her a doll that costs as fortune. Not because I worry about spending money on my daughter's gifts, but because in my humble opinion, such dolls are not worth their high cost, and especially not for a 2 year old.

I am always looking for great products that are also a great value, so, of course, I did the same when deciding on a doll for my princess. A great value does not mean cheap, it means the quality is superior to the price that you pay. A great value is exactly what I found in Springfield Collection Dolls.
I got her the gorgeous blonde doll named Abby. She is perfect. I also got Abby a bunch of outfits and shoes so she always looks stylish and my little girl can have fun dressing her up.
I was very impressed with the quality of this doll and her accessories. Everything looks fabulous, and it is very well made, not cheap or flimsy looking or feeling. The doll is 18 inches, so she can also share clothes with any other 18 inch dolls if you have any. That is awesome, less clothes to buy.

The clothes are very nice too, even better than I had hoped. Some even come "on" little cardboard hangers. It is so cute.
Abby's eyes open and close, her arms and legs move, she has a soft, huggable body(which is so necessary for my little girl who adores and hug her toys), and she is long, beautiful, shiny hair that can be brushed and styled.

There are no negative aspects of this doll, but so many positive ones, the most important of which is how much my little girl adores her.

She had so much fun, even just opening the doll and clothing.
She LOVES Abby! This doll is by far her favorite birthday present. She pretty  much abanoned all othe others from the moment she got this and she still plays with it every day and carries it almost everywhere. She hugs her and even kisses her several times a day and puts her up to the rest of us to have us kiss her too.

She calls it "doll-doll" because I was calling her a dolly. We call her old dolls babies since there are baby dolls, although she rarely plays with them anymore now anyway now that she has Abby.

It is adorable, she will(with help) dress Abby in all different outfits and then run to show daddy ("da da"). She runs off saying, "da da...doll-doll", it is so precious.

I could not be any happier with this fabulous doll from Springfield Collection. It is beautiful, stylish, functional, durable, and affordable, and my little girl adores it. What more could anyone want?

The holidays are coming up, I know my little girl will be getting some friends for Abby from Springfield Collection, and anyone shopping for a doll definitely needs to start with Springfield Dolls, you will be more than impressed with the quality and so will the recipient.

*Although I received these items to facilitate a review, all opinions are 100% my own.*
