MiaMariu Review and GIVEAWAY

Anyone who knows me, knows I am a beauty fanatic. I love to try every kind of cosmetics I can get my hands on. So I was surprised to find a great brand that up until now I had not tried. MiaMariu. Mía was founded by Jeannie Price, who wanted to create a company for women who want an exciting new way to make money without taking time away from family. Isn't that awesome?  Who doesn't want to make some extra money and have fun at it?

So far, I have only tried 2 MM products, but I am certainly not finished. I tried Perfecting Finish Mineral Foundation(in Vanilla) [Age-Defying hydrating foundation with luminous all-day coverage. With treatment benefits from natural minerals, green tea, lecithin and vitamins A & E that provide an even skin tone and a flawless all-day refined finish. Suitable for all skin types, non irritating, oil-free]

And I tried Hydrating Stick Gloss(in Encanto) [Color and hydrating gloss with nourishing vitamins and antioxidants provides long lasing satin softness and fabulous wear.]

My thoughts on the products? I think they might not be my ideal colors(maybe a shade darker on the foundation, and something more neutral for my lips), but these products are so good, I think it still looks pretty good. I could never pull off these colors with some other brands. I really love the way these feel. I have never used a mineral liquid foundation before. It is easy to apply, feels light(not smothering), covers easily and lasts all day. It does not smear or transfer(to clothes etc). Definitely something I will use again. 

As for the Stick Gloss, I adore it. It goes on so smoothly. I feels moist and smooth. It seems to actually put moisture into my lips. It feels light and soft, and it lasts a long time. I love that the color is not too sheer nor too opaque. Just the right amount of color and shine. I think I will be getting many more of these in other shades.

ProBar Fruition Review and GIVEAWAY!

I will admit I am not usually the kind of girl to eat healthy. I eat for taste, and so many healthy foods I have tried were so bad I could not even get them down. Talk about a breath of fresh air. Pro Bars are amazing. Not only are they incredible healthy for you, the taste so good, you won't even notice. I tried the Frutition bars, and let me tell you, they taste like real fruit. Why? Because they are made with real fruit. As well as nuts and seeds. They are certified organic and the Frutition bars are also Gluten-Free.How is that for super? Well it gets better, because they are made with Superfoods. They have antioxidants and Omega to keep you healthy, they are low in fat and calories to help keep you looking and feeling great. It's the best tasting better for you snack I have ever tried. Here is the rundown. Frutition bars come in 7 flavors:

Lemon -which I think is my favorite. It tastes so much like lemons, it is incredible. It's the only snack bar I have ever seen that tastes like lemon. 

   

Chocolate-Orange - Which is probably my second favorite. I love citrus flavors, and chocolate and orange go very very well together. Plus, who doesn't love chocolate?

 

Cherry - I guess would be third on my list in order. I have always been a cherry lover, and finding a snack bar that REALLY tastes like cherries is rare and wonderful.

Peach - is another wonderful flavor. Also a rare flavor for snack bars. And it is unheard of in a health food bar that tastes so amazing.

 

Strawberry - A classic choice for a snack bar, but never done like this until now. This tastes just like real fresh strawberries, but is way better for you.

Blueberry - Another classic for snack food bars, but once again, the real fruit taste this bar delivers is unmatched. The added nutrition makes it all the more wonderful. 

Cran-Raspberry - I was skeptical of this one at first because I am not the biggest fan of cranberries, but this is still wonderful. The raspberry stands out very well and makes this bar something really special.

 I really love how these bars are blended, not baked, so you get the whole goodness without loss of flavor, texture, or nutrition. This is the most unique texture for a bar I have ever had. They are very soft and chewy, but also chunky. It is very hard to describe unless you try them yourself(see giveaway below).

  As you can see, there is real pieces of fruit and nuts in these bars, not mashed processed junk. I also really love how filling these bars are. When I saw the size I was worried(I love to eat), but one of these bad boys filled me up more than 2 other bars I used to eat. Which is great for watching your weight.

Brush on Block Review

 

I'll admit, I do not always wear sunscreen as I should. In fact, I almost never wear it. I know that the sun can deeply damage my skin and I am worried about that, so I have started trying to protect my face at least by using products that include SPF. There are some foundations and such that do, but I do not wear foundation every day, and I do not want to have to just to get my SPF. I also to not wear facial lotion every day for fear of oily skin or it being washed off in rain, pool, beach etc. And I am not about to put actual sunscreen on my face. So where does that leave me? Well for the longest time, it left me plain out of luck, but then I found Brush On Block.

Brush on Block is one of the best kept secrets apparently. I just recently hear of it, although it has been featured in numerous magazines including People, Summer New York, Audry, and Trail Runner and websites including Marie Clair, More and Even The Walt Disney World Dad's. I must have been living under a rock.

Brush on Block is made of Natural Minerals, is SPF 30 and is water resistant for 80 minutes. It is a light powder with a built in brush that just glides on without effort. It can be worn over or under make-up or by itself. It is hypoallergenic and safe for all ages.

I love this stuff. It is so convenient. I carry it in my purse. I love that I can use it after applying makeup if I wish without messing up my look. It goes on dry, never stings the eyes(even on my baby daughter), is free of synthetic chemicals I'll be completely honest and say that I cannot really speak to the sun burn protection aspect as I never sun burn, but I am sure it is fantastic as all other aspects of this product are. I am so glad I have finally found sun protection that is portable, easy to use, hypo-allergenic, and great from me AND the family. I'll never use anything else.

Boogie Wipes Review and GIVEAWAY

As a mom, you always want to do everything you can to make your kids happy and healthy. When your child is sick, not only are the miserable, you are too. There is no worse feeling that having a child with a cold that is too young for medicine. You feel helpless. With nothing to do besides watch your child suffer through it. That had been the case with me and my daughter(and before that my son) for far too long. That is until I tried Boogie Wipes.
