Nadine West - December

It is the most wonderful time ... of the month. Time to check out my fabulous pink package from Nadine West.

The first thing I got was this black FILA athletic tank. I love the shiny letting on the logo and the cut of the tank is great. It is comfortable and stylish. 

Next is this lovely leopard print cardigan. It is soft and comfortable and will look great with jeans, black pants, or a skirt. 

Then we have this Daisy and Strawberry print dress. It is not a style I would normally consider, but it is sort of cute. I like being led outside of my comfort zone. I think it will look even better with a belt to cinch the waist. 

This shipment has a second dress instead of two pairs of bottoms. This one is more casual. I call this type a t-shirt dress. It is a lovely navy blue (the photo shows it darker than it is) and has a nice little criss-cross detail at the neckline. 

Finally, we have the bottoms. A fabulous pair of stretch skinny jeans. They are medium to dark wash and have cut/frayed ankles. They also have pockets which is always important. 

Lastly, we have this lovely silver pendant necklace. I like the size of it. It is durable and less likely to break than some of my dainty pieces. It stands out without being too gaudy.

Nadine West - November

Hello, lovelies, it is once again time for my favorite part of the month: diving into my pretty, pink Nadine West package. I just love seeing what my stylist chose for me and discovering all the great pieces I never even knew I was missing. 

First up is this simple yet fun gray tank top. It is made of a comfortable stretch fabric that makes it hug your body for a sinched look. Perfect under a cardigan or a sheer blouse. 

Next we have the aforementioned cardigan. Or something to that effect. This sheer shall, with its fun pattern and ultra-thin material, is a winner any time of year. 

We follow that with a gorgeous black and white dress. I love the cut on this one and the pattern. It almost looks 3D but still manages to be very elegant. It would look beautiful under a classic black blazer, or super sleek dressed down over black leggings or jeans. 

Speaking of jeans, we've made it to that portion of the shipment. We have these awesome black stretch jeans. I love the style and how comfortable they are. They don't have the chunky waistband that some of the other styles of jeans have. I prefer the sleekness of these. The only thing I would change is them having front pockets (they don't.) 

As much as I would love to wear jeans for any and all occasions, sometimes you need dressier pants. Like these beautiful black slacks. All the comfort of a stretch waist with none of the aesthetics. If your shirt covers it, no one would ever know. Plus, they have front pockets. 

I love that the items (almost always) make a coordinated outfit right out of the bag. How cute does this look together?

Nadine West - October

Welcome to my favorite event of the month: 'Unboxing' my Nadine West shipment. It is always so much fun to see what my stylist picked out for me. So, let's dive right in.

First up is this fab orange tank, coming in strong, perfect for Halloween. While this might not be fall attire for many states, here in Florida, this is perfect.

Next, we have another fun tank. This one is a little sportier. I love the leopard print, and like most items in the Nadine West arsenal, it is so buttery-soft and comfortable. 

Third time's the charm. This shipment had an extra shirt instead of the usual 2nd pair of bottoms. And it's another lovely sleeveless blouse. This one is a little dressier, a different fabric from that stretch 't-shirt' material the others are made from. I adore this pattern and color scheme. It will look very nice dressed up with a blazer. 

Next up is the dress. This one is a bit on the shorter side, so, for me, it will be worn over jeans or leggings for a flowy tunic vibe. Love the dark colors and bold pattern. 

Finally, my favorite part, the bottoms. Super cute, lightly distressed stretch skinny jeans. An absolute staple in almost any wardrobe, but especially mine. I can wear these with anything, and they are quite comfy too. 

Check out how cute this outfit is. But any of the tops (dress/tunic included) from this package would pair great with these jeans. 

And were are STILL not done. Because, last but not least, we have these fantastic earrings. I love the size and the little pop of color. They are unique and without being too flashy. Just a great statement piece. 

Overall, while I generally prefer the usual package breakdown (including 2 bottoms as opposed to 3 tops), the fact that everything is so cute makes up for it. The unpredictability is all part of the fun.

Nadine West - June

It's my favorite time of the month! Time to open my pretty pink package from Nadine West. My own personalized fashion blind bag. This is so much fun. So, let's dive in. 

First up is this long-sleeve striped shirt. The color is grayish, and it looks good with the white stripes. A good neutral color. Great to pair with jeans. Honestly, cute as it is I wasn't too thrilled with this item. Living in Florida, this shirt will have about 20 days it could be worn comfortably, and those are all months off. Tucking it away until then.

Next is a shirt I actually can wear during the summer. And it happens to be quite similar to the previous shirt. This striped tank is more of a green color, but it has the same vibe. 

Next up is a dress. This charcoal solid is so versatile. A staple that can be dressed up or down. The color is neutral and flattering without being just another black dress among the masses. Would look awesome with a big chunk belt below the bustline. 

Nest we have yet another shirt. I do prefer when my packages are more balanced: 2 shirts, 1 dress, 2 bottoms. The extra shirt means losing a pair of bottoms. But it is cute nonetheless. Basic maroon tee with a nice little side tie on the bottom. Great with jeans (or shorts if that's your thing, it's not mine) or leggings. 

Lastly, the bottoms. Truthfully, I was not digging these either. Again, it is summer in Florida, we're getting 100 degree weather. Sweat pants are not only fashionably out of place, they could literally be a health hazard in these temperatures. But, good thing clothing isn't perishable, and I can save them for a colder day. I know the pic isn't the greatest, since they blend into the background, but they are solid maroon. 

I didn't make an outfit pic this month because I had a hard enough time taking each maroon picture individually, and with those being the only bottom option, I felt there wasn't much reason. But I can style the items with pieces from my existing wardrobe.

Lastly, we have the jewelry. This necklace is so pretty! Pink beads on gold-tone metal. Just the right length to be fun without being too gaudy or too much of a hazard for my clumsy self.

The mystery, the anticipation, and the accomplished feeling you get when you find something meant for you it feels like serendipity.
