Check Out The New Bose Alto & Rondo Frames At Best Buy

*The reviewer has been compensated in the form of a Best Buy Gift Card and/or received the product/service at a reduced price or for free.*

You all know I love my sunglasses, but I have just discovered the greatest invention known to man. Okay, maybe not the greatest invention, but definitely the greatest fashion accessory. Best Buy has these new Bose Frames. They come in two styles, Alto and Rondo.

They are both very stylish, but the Rondo are totally more my style. They have a more round shape and a more retro, elegant, look. I would wear this style for fashion alone.

The Alto are cool, too. They are more angular than the Rondo. They give me a more casual vibe, which is great for an all occasion frame. I prefer rounded styles, but these are classic.

So, the styles alone are pretty cool, right? That is the least of the features, though. Of course, they block 99% of UVA/UVB rays. What makes them really special, however, is that they have speakers built into the frame. Not just any speakers, Bose speakers. Top of the line sound, that doesn't have to go in your ears.

Unlike existing open-ear products that use bone conduction, Bose Frames use a custom-designed speaker in conjunction with a series of patented acoustic chambers and ports to steer audio into the listener’s ears from the temples of the glasses.

The overall result is unbelievable audio clarity and spaciousness that seems almost impossible given the product’s size. What’s really mind-blowing is how full and rich the audio can sound for the wearer, but how little of that can be heard by anyone else, even if they’re standing next to the wearer.

Now I can listen to my music, without bothering others, while also still being approachable. With headphone you have that "not paying attention, don't bother me" aura, which is not really the impression you usually want to send.

Not only can you hear them, they can hear you. That is, they have an integrated microphone so you can make and take phone calls and access Siri and/or your Google Assistant with ease. Plus they are scratch and shatter resistant, built for life on the go. And, one app gives you complete control. I wish I could control the rest of my life that easily.

Best of all, they are super comfortable, made for all day wear, which is essential for something like sunglasses, that you will be wearing most of the day. While it seems like a given, I still think it's very impressive that Bose was able to achieve this level of comfort, considering the incredible performance.

All in all, these are the greatest sunglasses and the greatest smart speaker I have ever seen. How did we live before this? I am obsessed. And I am so glad that Best Buy has them, with their Guaranteed Lowest Price and their excellent service. Can you tell I love Best Buy, too? If you pick up either of these Bose Frames, drop me a selfie of you rocking them. Until next time, Rock on!

Six Quick Tips to Learn Swimming as an Adult

It can be a little embarrassing to learn how to swim when you’re already an adult. There’s no
need to feel this way, however. There are so many adults who never learned how to swim.

Whether you were scared of the water at a young age or simply didn’t have an opportunity to
learn, it is never too late! Even someone in their sixties can still learn how to swim from
scratch. All it takes is a little effort, time, and the right information.

In this article, we’ll take a look at six quick tips to learn swimming as an adult. These tips are
targeted directly at those who have little to no experience with swimming and are already in
their 20s or higher.

If you fit the above category or know someone else who does, take a look at our six tips
below!

#1 – Start in Shallow Waters

The water can be quite intimidating to those who haven’t yet learned how to survive in it.
Just because you’re an adult doesn’t mean you have to start in the deep end. In fact, we
strongly recommend that you stay far away from any level of water that is taller than you until
you’ve learned how to keep your head above the water. For more in-depth guidance about
learning to swim, check out https://felixswimschools.com/

Starting in the shallow end of the pool gives you a chance to learn some basic strokes and
how to float. Floating is one of the easier steps to swimming and should be learned first,
when possible. At least if you’ve learned how to float face-up in the water, you will have the
means to survive if you find yourself in deeper water.

#2 – Use Goggles

Using goggles makes your experience in the water easier and more interesting. Some
swimming pools have lines drawn on the bottom of them to let you know if you’re swimming
in a straight line or not. On top of that, people who are still a bit frightened of being
underwater will find it easier to handle when they can see something.

Finally, goggles are useful because they keep the water out of your eyes. Getting water in
your eyes is one of the things that stops many people from continuing to swim. The logical
reaction is to get up and rub your eyes, which stops you from practicing further. Use some
goggles and practice staying underwater for as long as you can. (Please remain in shallow
water when doing this)

#3 – Swim at Least Three or Four Times Each Week

Practice makes perfect! You can’t just pop into the swimming pool once a week and expect
to learn how to swim after a few goes at it. It takes many hours of practice for even the best
of us to learn the basics of swimming.

To ensure that your lessons go into your brain and you start to develop instinctive swimming
patterns, you should aim to swim at least three or four times a week. Try to remain in the
water for at least one hour for each of these visits. It may seem like a lot of time, but this will
allow you to master the basics of swimming much faster!

#4 – Master Freestyle

Freestyle looks easy when you watch the experienced swimmer. However, it isn’t as simple
as it may look. You need to account for all of the following factors when you master it:
· Arm movement
· Wrist, elbow, and arm positions
· Leg flutter kick
· Turning your body
· Breathing out as you face downward
· Breathing in as you face up
Without mastering each individual form of movement, your body won’t be able to keep up.

Obviously, you can’t continually process each of these things consciously as you go. You
need to practice them one-by-one for long enough to commit them to automatic memory.
Once you have, you’ll find it extremely easy to swim using freestyle.

#5 – Try Using Fins

When you first start practicing freestyle, you may notice that you aren’t moving much if at all!
Using fins while practicing is a great way to get some forward momentum as you learn.

Once you’ve mastered all the freestyle movements and positions, you can try utilizing them
without the fins until you’re confident that you have enough natural power to do so.

#6 – Take Swimming Lessons

At the end of the day, the easiest way to learn something is to ask someone who has already
mastered it for help! Swimming instructors are taught how to teach swimming to
inexperienced people. In fact, you might be surprised by how many adult-focused swimming
classes there are out there.

Make sure that you find a swimming instructor that has professional training, such as Red
Cross instructor training. Once you’ve found somewhere that offers instructors with that level
of skill, they will enroll you into an adult class with similar experience to yours. This truly is
the best and fastest way to learn how to swim!

Summer Style Special - Velvet Eyewear

Hello, lovelies. It's summer! We all know what that means. Sunnies! As much as I hate summer, I love summer fashions, and especially getting to rock gorgeous new sunglasses. If you know me at all, you know I have an obsession with sunglasses. I especially love the ones from Velvet. I have so many pairs, but I can't get enough.

They are always coming out with fabulous new styles, so I can keep my addiction fed, and always be on trend. They just dropped some new summer Style Boxes. They are all stunning. I had the toughest time even choosing one.

I ended up getting the Glam Collection. I chose this one mostly because I love oversized sunnies and this had a great variety. the Gina in Dark Tortoise are so bold while still being very glamorous. I love the round shape and lighter color palette of the Candice style. The timeless elegance of the black Chelsea cateye makes it the perfect staple pair. The "little black dress" of sunglasses.

The styles are all so different, but all completely glamorous. While the style aspect is very important, it would mean nothing without the quality and performance to back it up. But, being Velvet, that is absolutely nothing to worry about. The quality is outstanding! They are very well made, especially for being so affordable. They are every bit as good as the designer sunnies I own.

They are also very comfortable and the tint is perfect. They are not too dark and they still block all the death rays we get here in Florida. Plus, they each come with the darling pink cleaning bag, all in a super pretty gift/storage box.

If you are a sunnies junkie like me, or you just need affordable (but not cheap), high quality sunglasses, Velvet is absolutely the right choice. I'm already planning my next styles. Until then, stay gorgeous.

Summer Style - Nadine West

Style is so important. It's how you express yourself. It can make you feel confident. I am always looking for new ways to find my style. I feel like I have a less defined style than some. I like what I like, and sometimes I don't know what that is until I see it.

I just discovered Nadine West, and I am already hooked. Nadine West is a company that sends monthly or bi-weekly shipments of clothing and accessories. You can pick one piece, the whole package or any number in between. You only pay for what you keep. There is no membership or "styling" fee that some others charge.

The only thing you get charged for is shipping (to you), which is credit back toward any purchase you make. Return shipping of the items you don't want is free with the prepaid label. Plus, the item themselves are super affordable, priced at about $10-$30 per item. I love that because I am not usually the type to spend much more than that.

I really love that experts are helping pick out styles for me. I love to find hidden gems that I would never have thought I would love. And the shipments get better as the stylist learns what you like and what you don't. I am looking forward to seeing how well they can match me as time goes on. The first shipment was pretty good for a start.

Isn't this a great selection? Nice color variety, which is not something I often do myself. I stick to dark colors, usually. I like that many things can be mixed and matched. And the jewelry is super cute. Check out some of the looks.

Super cute, right? I really love these looks. Most fit pretty good too. The pants are a little big, but that is my fault. I am in the process of losing weight, and I wasn't sure which size I should pick. They don't look too bad, though. I wore the blue ones (and the dark shirt) today.

Overall, this box was very good, and I can't wait to see what I get next time. This is so much fun.Have you tried Nadine West? I would love to hear about it or see your cute looks. Let's chat in the comments. Stay stylish, lovelies.
