Mineral Hygenics Review

I have pretty terrible skin. It looks awful without makeup, but due to the condition of it, it also looks pretty bad with make up on.

Most makeup tends to look like a mask and not even cover my bad skin, but rather highlight it. Not to mention that it breaks me out making me look even worse.

I have heard so many great things abut mineral makeup, so I tried some, more than once. Each time it looked terrible. So I thought that either all makeup was the same or that my skin was just not capable of wearing makeup correctly.

I still kept trying though. I was determined to find something that worked for me(at least better than the other products I've tried). I did not really expect to actually find something that worked.

Mineral Hygienics is amazing.

It actually works on me. I am overjoyed to be able to wear makeup without looking like a clown. I guess that it really is just the quality of the products that makes the difference.

Of course the pictures do not come close to doing these products justice.

These colors are all so natural-looking and blend so easily that I can mix them or wear any of them alone and no matter what it will look natural and perfect.

I love having the different colors though so I can match how my skin looks on a given day. If I am more tan, I can go slightly darker, and when I am pale, I can go lighter. The mixing is seamless.

And as perfect as these foundations look alone, they look even better when used with Finishing Powder.

Mineral Finish - Translucent:

 Once again, the picture is a disgrace to the beauty of this product.

This finishing powder makes your skin look like a porcelain doll. Flawless and completely gorgeous.
It feels weightless and just glides on your skin. It is like taking an already gorgeous photo and airbrushing any miniscule imperfection.

And not that you will need anything else, but for an even more complete look, you can add a bronzer to make your skin really glow.

Cool Kiss Mineral Bronzer:

This is such a gorgeous bronzer. It is just a bit shimmery and it has a slightly rose tone, which makes it look even more natural(in my opinion).

I really love this color, and love how it made an already beautiful result, even better. It looks perfect with the foundation color. It is not too much like I have fond many bronzers to be.

And of course I could not leave out the wonderful Full Coverage Kabuki Brush

It is perfect for applying all of these wonderful products. It is big enough to cover quickly and easily, but small enough to be easy to handle and get into any area(like around the nose). It holds the minerals really well, and is super smooth for effortless blending.

Words can hardly describe the amazing performance of these products, and since a picture is worth 1000 words, I feel that would d a much better job.

If you are a fan of caramel corn, you haven't really tasted good until you've tried this.

It's like eating a cake with no icing. It is still delicious, and if you never tried it with icing, you would never know how much better it could be.

This is crisp with the light fluffy popcorn and the smooth chocolate. The textures combine as beautifully as the flavors to create a distinctively delicious treat that rivals any confection you've ever tried.

I love sea salt and caramel together, and this is even better because of the added chocolatey bliss. My husband loved this as well, although he did not get much as It was too good to share.


Smokey Bacon Cheddar: 

That's right, BACON! That is all I needed to see for me to choose this flavor. Bacon makes everything better. I would probably eat a chunk of wood if it tasted like bacon.

And not just bacon, bacon CHEDDAR. I love cheese, and nothing goes better with bacon than cheddar.

And this popcorn does not just "taste" like cheddar and bacon, it is made with them. And not a tiny bit to advertize as containing real cheese, but cheese is the second ingredient(right behind popcorn), and the 3rd ingredient. Bacon fat is what gives it the amazing real bacon deliciousness not bacon flavored junk.

This is the most addictive popcorn I have ever had. I could hardly stop eating it. It has such a wonderful cheddar and bacon flavor that is very satisfied but not overbearing.

You can still taste the yummy popcorn and you don't feel like you are eating bacon grease. It is just the perfect balance of flavors.


I love both of these flavors so much, and I cannot wait to get more, but there is a problem. Popcorn Passion has too many incredible favors to choose from, and I want to try all of them as well.

These have chocolate chips as well as nuts. They are really good. Not too much chocolate, which I actually love. I don't want my chocolate chip cookies to be more chocolate than cookie, and I usually will not even eat those that are like that.

These are slightly chewy and also a little bit crisp. I love the texture and that they are not too soft like some cookies are.

My husband LOVED these. He ate most of them, I only got a couple.


Almond Shortbread Cookies:

These were so good. They remind me vaguely of a sugar cookie(but not as sweet). The almonds make them wonderfully different and give them a really nice flavor.

But what makes these cookies even more special is that they also have a touch of citrus flavor(orange I believe, but possibly lemon).

I have never had a cookie like this before, and it was amazing. These also have the slightly chewy texture without being to soft. Perfect.

Peanut Butter Cookies:

These are spectacular! I only like certain peanut butter cookies, and these are among they best I've tried. They have a great peanut butter flavor without tasting too dry or overly peanut buttery.

These have a softer, chewier texture than the other cookies, which makes them the perfect "soft" cookie.

My daughter loved these. Every time I tried to eat one, she would make me give her some(if not all).

Fudge Brownie Bites:

These are "death by chocolate" brownies if I ever had any. The chocolate flavor is out of this world. They even have chocolate chips in them.

Once again, my husband pretty much devoured these by himself. He said they were better than home made(and that is saying a lot).

Raspberry Linzer Heart Cookies:

This picture does not really do this cookie justice at all. These are topped with powdered sugar, so the picture came out way too white.

But from the name you probably gathered that they are Raspberry. Raspberry filling(jam like) inside butter(type) cookies and topped with powdered sugar.

So delicious and fancy looking. The raspberry really makes these taste bright and super sweet. These were one f my favorite things in this assortment.

Pistachio-Ginger bars:

Honestly, I was not a fan of these at all. But the reason for that is that I do not like ginger and these had real pieces of ginger in them.

Obviously that goes to say that if you like ginger, you will love these cookies. Hubby ate some of these, and would have ate more, but he was too occupied with everything else.


Toasted Coconut Bars:

These are possibly my favorite thing of all. I do not always like coconut. Inn fact, most if the time, I don't, but these are so incredible. The toasted aspect really made the coconut have a really great depth of flavor.

The cookie was outstanding, soft with a bite to it and a wonderful buttery flavor. And the chocolate drizzle just made them all the more decadent. Not too sweet, but definitely indulgent.

Chocolate Walnut Biscotti:

I love biscotti, and this one is so good. Just enough yummy chocolate to make this already great treat even better, without a sweet overload.

The walnuts add a wonderful flavor and a nice variance in texture. They are not too hard either, which is a common problem with lesser quality nuts.

These were perfect dipped in my coffee. They paired perfectly. Things that are too sweet make the coffee taste funny. I did not have that problem with this awesome biscotti.

And last but certainly not least

I am not even sure what this is called, but it is incredible. This is my favorite item, along with the coconut bars.

It is a pastry of some kind with raisins and a touch of cinnamon flavor. It is soft and sweet and perfect for breakfast, snack or dessert.


Everything in this crate was super fresh and so tasty. The quality of the ingredients as well as the experience of the baker really shines through on each of these tasty treats.

Rocky Mountain Popcorn Co. NottaTin Review and GIVEAWAY!

Naked:

You would never guess that this was only lightly salted. This popcorn has so much flavor that it does not need to hide it with butter or other flavors.

I did not expect to like this the first time I tried it(since I am so used to "lighter" popcorn being flavorless), but this stuff is incredible and one of my favorites now.

Caramel:

Not only is the flavor of this popcorn out of this world, but equally(if not more) impressive is the texture. This popcorn is crisp, not hard and tooth breaking. I have bad tooth, so if I can eat this, that says a lot. Sometimes the sweetness hurts my teeth, but as I said, they are bad and most sweet things do.

I am sure you have all had the caramel corn that feels like chewing rocks, this is light-years past that. It is light and perfectly crispy, caramely good.

Jalapeno:

This is white cheddar and Jalapeno. It is amazing, cheesy good with just the right kick. I am not a lover of spicy, and I love this. It is not too hot, but certainly not bland or boring.


White Cheddar:

This is like the signature flavor of bagged popcorn, only 100 times better. The quality of this is outstanding, and you'll never want to eat that other kind again.


Cinnamon Sugar:

Probably my favorite flavor(though I love them all so much). So sweet and delicious, but not too sweet for my horrible teeth. I had never had cinnamon sugar popcorn before, and I know I will never have anything as good as this. A nice variation on the standard sweet(caramel) popcorn.


Butter:

The timeless flavor that is the staple for popcorn. It's all the buttery goodness you love, but even more delicious.  Some of the best buttered popcorn I have tried. Very good.


Kettle:

This is fantastic! It is right up there close to fresh Kettle Corn that you would get from the fair or something. It blows any other microwave or packaged Kettle Corn away. If you can't have fresh, this is the next best thing. After trying this, you would not even consider any other packaged Kettle Corn, and regret every wasted bite.

In today's busy world, eating on the go just comes with the territory. The problem with that is that all too often I end up eating something really unhealthy because it is fast, convenient, portable, etc.
