2014 WWE WrestleMania Reading Challenge

As you all probably know, I am a HUGE WWE fan. In fact if you read the review I just posted, you saw the awesome photos from the WWE Live event I attended over the weekend.

I love the WWE for so many reasons. One of the biggest is the nostalgia. The memories I have of watching with my big brother when I was only 4(and probably younger), and cheering my favorites, booing the heels and having something in common with a boy 8 years my elder.

I love the excitement, the spectacle, the drama. I love sharing this passion with my husband and our children, and creating a tradition that they will hopefully pass on to their children. I love it all.

Aside from all of that, I would still love the WWE, and there is one huge reason why. They care. They care about the fans, but not just the way a company cares about it's customers. They do so much to help the community.

They support amazing causes like Susan G. Komen for the Cure, The Make A Wish Foundation, Hire A Hero, and so many more. They do tribute shows for the troops at military bases all over. The offer free tickets for all military personnel to EVERY WWE event.

They also started the Be A Star movement to end bullying, and they have incredible programs like the WrestleMania Reading Challenge, which encourages children to read and rewards them for doing so.

Not only that, but the kids can read the books online for FREE. That is so wonderful, because not every child has access to books. They can participate at school and at home, and it makes reading even more fun.
