The holidays this year were pure insanity. Online shopping and shipping were at record highs, causing backups and delays all over. But all the shipping providers have been working tirelessly to get things delivered, even if they had to arrive a little later than anticipated.
Some of my gift guide items arrived after Christmas. But that doesn't make them any less awesome. And they are still great gift ideas for any occasion. I think a lot of us deserve a gift for just surviving 2020, anyway. But there's also always birthdays, Valentine's Day, Easter, etc.
2020 may have lasted 5 years, but as a rule, holidays always approach way sooner than you expect them to. Planning ahead is the best way to spare stress and panic later.
So, back to my point; one of the coolest items I've checked out this year just arrived this week. It's a kids item, which I am super bummed about, since I would love this for myself. The Razor Petite Pocket Mod Scooter. It's so cute. I love the color and retro look. Everything about this is epic.
It is meant for ages 7 and up. I can't even imagine having such a cool toy when I was that age. I was still traveling on a Big Wheel back then. Part of me is a bit jealous, but mostly I am just excited to be able to give my children all the cool stuff that I never had.
My daughter is over the moon for this thing. I don't blame her one bit. It's seriously so stylish and it looks like a blast. If it wasn't for those blasted (but practical and necessary) weight limits, I would have taken it for a spin. But At least I get to watch her enjoy it.
