I know you are thinking, "how can one ingredient make such a big difference? Well, I am not too sure how, but I can tell you it makes all the difference. Since I know you are dying to try the most glorious pancakes in the world, so here is the recipe:
Ingredients
- 3/4 cup milk
- 2 tablespoons white vinegar
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 tablespoons white sugar
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 egg
- 1 tablespoon Tropical Traditions Gold Label Virgin Coconut Oil
- 2 Teaspoons Vanilla Extract
Directions
- Combine milk with vinegar in a medium bowl and set aside for 5 minutes to "sour".
- Combine flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a large mixing bowl. Whisk egg, vanilla and coconut oil into "soured" milk. Pour the flour mixture into the wet ingredients and whisk until lumps are gone.
Then add butter and syrup to make them extra delicious(although, these are o good, they don't even need it).
Seriously, you will wonder how you have been missing out on such bliss for so long. The only downside? Once your family tries these, they will want them every day.
