LeapReader™ "Ready, Set, Read & Write" Party

As a proud member of MomSelect, I am often given amazing opportunities to try out fabulous products. Sometimes, I try them with only my family, while other times I actually get to play hostess for a wonderful party, such is the case this time.

LeapFrog and MomSelect provided my with an incredible LeapReader "Ready, Set, Read & Write" Party Kit to host a party for my son and his friends.
The kit is incredible. There were so many amazing things. It included invitations, achievement ribbons, activity pages...
And of course it contained LeapReaders(2 of them so sharing was easier).
It also came with addition books, Ready for Kindergarten and Monster's University(which is 3D).
And since there was a 3D book, there was 3D glasses for everyone.
And as if all that stuff was not good enough, there was also a set of Flash Cards and and Activity Set, to really kick the learning up a notch.
I love that there was so many ways for the kids to learn and have fun. To them, it was just like playing, and everyone's face was lit up each time someone got the word correct, it was so sweet. The kids even shared so much better than I thought they would.

Here are some pictures of my son reading Monster's University. He is a huge fan of Monster's Inc./ University and he LOVES the 3D glasses.
He loves the other books too.
My son cannot get enough, the LeapReader has replaced his regular bedtime story. He can read it my himself usually, but like hearing it read to him ad loves sounding o the words(even the ones he knows).

I am so glad that this came with 2 LeapReaders because little sister is not one to be left out. She tried to do everything her brother does. Now they can both play without fighting. She is only 2, so she is a bit young for reading on her own. I love that she can tap the page and it will read it to her.

The LeapReader is a really great device. I almost called it a toy, but it's not really, it is a learning tool. You can have it read the whole page, read the word, sound out the word or even give the letter sound. Plus you can play games on it. And you can touch the pictures in the book to hear the characters talk(beyond the words of the story). It is so cool.

That is just the reading part, it also helps you write. It has you trace the letter the first time, then use the dashed line, then do it on your own. It makes sure you begin from the correct position for each line(like from the top instead of the bottom). It is so neat.

I am so glad that I had the chance to host such a wonderful party. All the kids and parents had a blast. I know the LeapReader will be on a lot of Christmas lists this year, but the parents won't mind at all, they all love it too.

I want to say thank you to LeapFrog and MomSelect, and to all my wonderful guests for making this party such a huge success.
