Christmas Wishes - California Delicious

You cannot have a Christmas Wishes event without featuring one of the most popular gift categories. Gift baskets make fabulous gift all year long, but especially around the holidays. Everyone loves food, and nothing is better than getting a selection of delicious treats beautifully arranged in a lovely basket and adorned with a bow.

Gift baskets also make wonderful gift ideas because it is perfect for ordering and having shipped directly to the recipient, making them effortless to gift to anyone, near or far. Obviously you can ship almost any gift directly to the recipient, but not all items can be gift wrapped(and it always costs more even when they can), and some gifts are just less special shipped than given in person.

A gift basket never needs to be wrapped, they look gorgeous right out of the box, which is great. Plus, everyone eats, so food is a gift that will not go unused.

Of course, gift baskets, like everything else, can be purchased from many different places. Because of their immense popularity, finding the perfect place to get your gift baskets might be a bit overwhelming.

Fortunately, I just received a basket from an amazing company, California Delicious, and I can say with confidence that a gift basket from them will not disappoint. I selected the California Healthy Gift Basket since I a still trying to watch my weight, even if I am allowing myself to indulge.

I would much rather treat myself to some delicious nuts and fresh, juicy fruits than pig out on chocolates and cookies and feel guilty later. That is what is so great about California Delicious, they have such a wide selection. There is something for everyone. So much so that I actually had a very hard time choosing just one.

This basket is fabulous though. Not only does it look beautiful, but it is full of so many delicious(and healthy) foods.

Granny Smith Apples.

Big, ripe, juicy with the perfect crunch. Sweet and slightly tart. Absolutely perfect. These are awesoem with cheese and crackers(Triscuits)

Red Delicious Apples.

So fresh and sweet, perfect for grab and go snacking.

Navel Oranges.

Juicy and bright. like a ball of sunshine. And people think Florida oranges are good. They are nothing compared to these.

Roasted Salted Pistachios.

Not only are pistachios my favorite nut, they are one of my favorite foods ever. I could eat them by the pound, but even a small amount is enough to satisfy my hunger. These were wonderful.

Sweet Chipotle Almonds.

These are wonderful. I have never had this flavor combination before, but it is amazing. These are sweet and smoky with just the right kick.

Honey Cinnamon Almonds.

These are good enough to be dessert. They are sweet, but not too much so that they taste like candy. It just enhances the wonderful nutty flavor. I'm going to have dreams about these now.

Roasted Almonds with Sea Salt.

These are your basic almonds, only way more delicious. They are toasty and rich with just the right amount of salt.

Fancy Nuts.

This is a mix of almond, cashews and pecans. I love the way the nuts flavor each other. These are so good.

Roasted Salted Cashews.

Cashews are right behind pistachios as my favorite nut. These are delicious. The are softer like cashews are supposed to be. I hate when you get ones that are hard.

Everything in this basket was fantastic. I only wish that I could have had more of it. I had to share everything with my daughter because she loved it all so much too. I don't think I even got half of it.

I can honestly say that this was the best gift basket I have ever had. This would make an incredible gift for anyone trying to stay on a healthy path, even over the holidays. California Delicious has an incredible selection of more indulgent baskets as well.
