Guylian Belgian Chocolates Review and GIVEAWAY!!

The holidays are on their way! Not only will it be time to give gifts, but also to entertain, especially with Thanksgiving right on our heels. To me, entertaining is more important than gifts. Giving a nice gift is wonderful, but when you entertain, you are really interacting with people. It is a much better way to show how much you care.

When you entertain family and friends, it can, in itself, be a form of gift if done properly. One of the best ways is to serve incredible foods and drinks. Of course having a big fancy meal is great, but I love having a bowl or dish with a special treat too. I love to put out fresh fruit, but I really love to keep a nice dish of chocolates out.

It is something that I do every year around the holidays. To me, setting out the chocolates dish symbolizes the beginning of the holiday season. Of course, I want the chocolates that I choose to be special enough to enhance the other holiday magic.

I have tried many different varieties and brands. I have found that truffles are my favorites, but never settled on one brand. Recently though, I discovered Guylian Belgian Chocolates
I am shocked that I had not discovered Guylian sooner, because it is certainly not a new company. It all began in Belgium back in 1958 when a Belgian Chocolatier named Guy married his beloved, name Liliane. They joined names in marriage and in business.

Their amazing chocolates were such a success that chocolate lovers in Belgium still adore them to this day. Guylian crafts the finest, authentic, Belgian chocolates, and they are now sold in more than 100 countries across the world.

The fact that Guylian has been around so long, is beloved in so many countries and is actual Belgian chocolate, that really started in Belgium are plenty enough reasons to fall in love with Guylian. When I saw the amazing products though, it reached another level. There are so many indulgent delights.

There are Extra Dark Truffles:
As you can see, these come in many different sizes. There are 4 piece boxes, 11 piece boxes and 22 piece boxes. These come in beautiful seashell and seahorse shapes, and are filled with a luscious extra dark truffle filling.

I prefer milk chocolate over dark, but out of every dark chocolate I have ever eaten, these are by far the best. They are so smooth and rich. Not at all bitter. The silkiness is incredible. My hubby loves dark chocolate, so he couldn't get enough of these.

For anyone who loves dark chocolate, this will make you feel like it is your first taste. It is that good.

Vanilla Truffles:
These incredible white and milk chocolates are both filled with an amazing vanilla truffle center. These are the creamiest chocolates I have ever tried.
So rich and smooth. They are to die for. I really wanted to share these, but I wanted to eat them all more, so I did. If I had more, I probably wouldn't share those either.

Original Truffles(with Signature Hazelnut Filling):
These are the signature Guylian product, and I can see why. They are out of this world. They come in multiple sizes. 4 Piece box, 11 piece box, 11 piece individually wrapped, and 22 piece box.
These are very unique. It is white chocolate swirled with either dark or milk chocolate and over the divine Signature Hazelnut Filling.
They are so beautiful, it as almost a shame to eat them.
Although, after one nibble, there was no way to resist. These are so silky and they melt in your mouth. The unique depth of flavor is incredible. There are three distinct flavors in each truffle, and they all compliment each other flawlessly.

I made the mistake of letting my daughter(she's 2) have one. She devoured it in one bite and preceded to ask for more. I gave her another and poof, it was gone in one bite. I didn't want her to have too many sweets, and honestly, I did not want to share my artisanal chocolates with her, so I had to hide them.

If she even caught a glimpse of the box or of my trying to eat one, she would go nuts. I had to sneak around to even eat them. That didn't last long though, because I could not use self control around these.

They are a special treat, and I savored each one, even taking very small bites to enjoy every bit, but that didn't stop me from eating a whole(11 piece) box in one sitting. I am not proud of that, but if you tasted them, you'd understand.

And silky truffles are not the only confections from Guylian, they also have No Sugar Added Bars.

Milk:
Dark:
I did not personally try either of these bars because hubby gobbled them both up, but he said they were the smoothest, silkiest chocolate bars he'd ever eaten, and that he could not tell they were no sugar added. That is a very high compliment coming from him.

Overall, Guylian Belgian Chocolates are sublime. I know I have found my new holiday chocolates. Not only does the outstanding quality and flavor make it so, but the beauty as well. It is so nice to have something that looks like a work of art and tastes like a dream come to life.

There is nothing sweeter(pun intended) than sharing something so special with the ones you love. I am so glad to have found a treat and a tradition that I can share with the ones I love for many years to come.
