I love to snack. I practically consider it a hobby. Obviously, I need to snack healthy, but for some reason I hate to eat "healthy" snacks in the traditional sense.
As odd as it may sound, I think this is because my mind knows I am trying to eat healthier and it sabotages me. For example, I love fruit, but often times if I was to choose an apple over a bag of chips, I would feel link I am making a huge sacrifice and it would bum me out.
That is why I am so glad I found an awesome new healthy snack that is helping keep my snacking in check.
With 0g fat and only 58 calories per serving, I can feel good about snacking, and the crispy texture and awesome taste kick that craving right out the window. Thanks to Bare Fruit, I can control my cravings instead of the other way around.
Bare Fruit Makes a variety of Bake-dried apple chips all natural and Organic and even organic dried mangoes, apricots and pears.
I have only had the pleasure of trying the Organic Cinnamon apples so far, but they are incredible.
Contains only 2 simple ingredients: Organic Apples and Organic Cinnamon. That's it! They taste wonderful, and the crunch is the icing on the cake.
They are so much better for taking on the go and packing in lunches than fresh apples which can bruise and spoil. Plus these taste better(in my opinion) and have the pleasing aspect of munching on chips.
Of course these apples are sweet and delicious on their own, but apples and cinnamon go hand in hand, and in this case, the cinnamon truly is a game changer.
And with cooler weather upon us, I tend to be drawn to cinnamon all the more. What better snack to enjoy while waiting on all the yummy dinners and such this holiday season?
I bet these would be killer used in baked good too. Maybe soak them in a little cider to soften them a bit. Can you imagine apple cinnamon pancakes or crumb cake. The possibilities are endless.
If you are looking for a good snack, these are a good choice. If you are looking for a healthy snack that tastes good, these a re a perfect choice. I have yet to find something healthier that tastes as good.
