Aluminyze Review & GIVEAWAY!!

'Tis the season to be thinking ahead for holiday gifts. I always like to give the most heartfelt, personal, gifts possible. One of the best ways to give a really special gift is through photos. Photo gifts are getting increasingly more popular, and there are so many options.

Of course there are the staples like coffee mugs, photo books and canvas prints, but those are done to death, and while the photo is still special, the gift itself loses a little of it's novelty. My husband's and my 4th wedding anniversary recently passed, and I wanted to get a photo gift for him.

I was in search of something more unique than other photo gifts, but still just as elegant, and I found exactly that with Aluminyze. As the name alludes to, the photo is printed on aluminum instead or canvas(or paper, etc.). That gives the photo a very unique appearance, and actually seems to give it more life.

I chose a photo from my hubby's family reunion over Easter weekend. It was the first time he had seem most of his family members in over 15 years, so I know how much that photo means to him. I wanted the presentation to be worthy of the photo itself, and with Aluminyze is definitely is. I am so impressed with the quality. This print looks better than the actual photo.
This photo does not do justice to how stunning this aluminum print really is. My husband was blown away(as was I). He loves it even more than I had hoped he would, and I completely see why.

This has such a illuminating quality, making it look crystal clear. The size is perfect. This is a 16x20, and it is large enough to stand out, but small enough that it can displayed anywhere.

It is really sleek. Since it is not wrapped like a canvas, it does not protrude way off the wall. It is only about 1/4 in thick, and mounting surface in the back is about 1 inch(if that).
The durability of this is outstanding too. With my rambunctious kiddos, I am always worried about my photos getting destroyed. Framed photos can be broken, canvases can rip, but this Aluminyze print is very durable. If it gets hit with a rouge ball or knocked off the wall, I am confidant that it will remain in perfect condition for years.

My daughter LOVES this photo(even though she is crying her eyes out in it), because her brother, daddy and mommy are in it. She points us all out every time she looks at it. Because the quality is so high, I bet I will be able to pass it down to her and it will still look exactly the same.

We have gotten several compliments on this print already. A couple friends, my sister and even our mail carrier commented on it's beauty and originality. That only strengthens my love for Aluminyze. I plan to buy many more for the holidays. both as gifts for others and more for our home. I plan to get family portraits taken soon, and can think of no greater way to display them than Aluminyze prints.

If you are looking for a new way to give a special photo this holiday season, I HIGHLY recommend Aluminyze. It takes photo art to a whole new level.
