Changing my life

I am so excited to share this news with all of you. I am making a change that will be a huge turning point in my life.

I have let my weight get seriously out of hand, and it has gotten to the point where I cannot stand the sight of myself. Not to mention how out of shape I feel physically.

I am not the kind of person who can count and measure my food, starve myself or eat disgusting food. Every time I have tried to diet on my own, I would fail horribly. Either I would eat the wrong portion sizes or choose the wrong foods and not lose weight or I would try to overdo it and cut out everything but like veggies and I would crack and break the diet withing a week.

I have seen commercials for Nutrisystem so many times, and I have always wanted to try it, but as a Stay At Home Mom, I never really had my own income and felt bad asking my husband to pay for it since it's not his fault I let myself go. So I never took the plunge.

Now the time has come that I just have to try it. I hope it will work for me, and I am pretty confident that it will.

The food looks delicious, and I LOVE that everything is perfectly portioned so you can just pick any breakfast, lunch, dinner and even dessert on any given day and not worry about what else you had that day or counting the calories and so on.

I love that there are tons of choices and that everything is delivered right to your door. And that you can still have some fresh items from your own shopping such as veggies, fruits and dairy.

This is great for me because I can add a vegetable to my dinner so I will be more full. Because from what I can tell, the only minor issue I may have with Nutrisystem would be the smaller portions, but that is on any diet plan, and adding veggies and such is sure to help immensely.

I love that you also get protein shakes to help fight hunger too. And having 4 flavor choices is wonderful, like coffee in the morning with breakfast or chocolate with dinner s a dessert-like treat. Vanilla or Strawberry as an afternoon snack. No matter what flavor or time of day, it will be a wonderful help.

I am so excited to begin Nutrisystem tomorrow. I am dying to dig into the foods right now, they look wonderful, especially those desserts. But they all look great, pancakes, breakfast burritos, french toast, omelets, donuts, pizza, chili, Ravioli, Fajita melts, Steak & Cheese melts, pot pies, chicken Alfredo, Red Beans and rice with sausage, grilled chicken, hamburger patties, brownie cheesecake, Red Velvet Whoopie Pies, Cookies, chocolate covered pretzels, protein shakes and so much more.

Is your mouth watering yet?

Check out all of the great foods you get every month. This is only a one month supply. So much wonderful food. I can't wait to taste everything. The hardest part will be choosing where to start.

I will keep you all updated all the way. And hopefully my results will help give you the push you might have been waiting for to give Nutrisystem try.

  1. Good for you!!! I've been doing the same for myself, just trying to cut down on what I eat and am eating healthier. Out of curiosity, how much did a 1 month supply cost, if you don't mind sharing? Thank you and good luck to you.

    1. Well since I am doing the review on the blog with weekly updates and such, I will be getting the program for 4 months at no cost, however a 1 month supply for the Select program(including Fresh Frozen meals) such as I have, is $299. If you can afford it that is not a bad price for what you are getting. There is also the Basic and Core programs that are even less expensive($229 and $249 respectively). I wish you the best of luck on your weight loss journey. :)
