The contest is very simple. Create a Smoothie Recipe Using a Dream Brand Non Dairy beverage as one of the ingredients.

To enter, Take a before photo(of all the ingredients, including a Dream product) and an after photo(of the finished smoothie), post the photos(pasting them to one photo would probably be better than posting 2 photos, but either way) to either Facebook, Twitter or Instagram. Make sure that it's Public and use the hashtag #myDREAMsmoothie.

Post a comment on this post with the link(s) to your photos, as well as
your first name and last initial, the name of your smoothie, as well as the ingredients list and directions for your smoothie.

You can enter more than once, as long as each smoothie is different and uses a different Dream Beverage(for example, one can use Rice Milk, one Coconut Milk, one can use a Dream Blend and so on). Enter the same way for each entry(In a separate comment each time).

The winner will be chosen from all blog entries (across the 4 participating blogs) collected by 12:00am June 15th. The Winner will be judged by the DREAM team on the grounds of photo use/quality, recipe creativity and DREAM product involvement. The DREAM team will announce the winner Monday, June 17th.

Since the winner is not just random, you can really improve your chances by making a great recipe, especially if you do more than one.

And even if you don't win, you will still have tried the amazing Dream Products and had a delicious smoothie. So technically, you still won.

What are you waiting for. Get some Dream and get to work. This contest ends at 11:59pm on June 15th. Best of luck. I can't wait to see all the awesome Vitamix Recipes you come up with.

My Smoothie is called the "Smores Smoothie"

    Ingredients:
    1/2 cup of Rice Dream
2 tbsp. Chocolate Dream (chocolate chips)
2 whole wheat Mi-Del graham cracker squares
    2 tbsp. fat-free cool whip
    1 scoop quaker oats
1 scoop of fiber (I use Ultra Fiber Plus brand)
1 scoop of vanilla whey protein (I use Pure Protein brand)

    Directions:
This recipe is so quick and easy! All you need to do is combine the above ingredients in a blender and blend! Add a few icecubes to thicken the smoothie and cool it down too.

For the finishing touches: smash one graham cracker square in a bowl. Wet the rim of your glass, and simply swirl it in the crumbs to "graham cracker" the rim. Add an additional 1 tbsp. of fat-free cool whip to the top of your smoothie and use remaining graham cracker crumbles to top it off!

Makes for a great, all natural, and much healthier dessert alternative !

I also created a Pumpkin Pie Smoothie - which is great for fall or any time of the year!

    Ingredients:
1/2 cup of Coconut Dream (original Enriched is what I like for this recipe)
3/4 cup of canned pure pumpkin
    1 tbsp. ground cinnamon
1 tbsp. pumpkin spice Jello Pudding Mix (if you cannot find this at your supermarket, you can substitute with extra cinnamon instead)
2 whole wheat Mi-Del graham cracker squares
    2 tbsp. fat-free cool whip
    1 scoop of quaker oats
1 scoop vanilla whey protein (I use Pure Protein brand)
1 scoop fiber ( I use Ultra Fiber Plus brand)

    Directions:
Simply blend all of the above ingredients in a blender, and add a few ice cubes to cool it down and add thickness.

For the last few touches, crush one graham cracker square in a bowl. Wet the rim of your glass and swirl the glass in the bowl to "graham cracker" the rim. Add an additional 1 tbsp. of fat-free cool whip to the top of your drink and top it off with a sprinkle of cinnamon.

This drink could really fool you into believing it's real pumpkin pie!! It makes for an excellent healthy dessert alternative, and would be great especially around the holidays !

  13. Kristina F.
    Sweet Potatoey Creamy DREAM-y Smoothie
-1 cup Rice Dream Rice Drink Original
    -1/4 cup Frozen Blueberries
    -1 tbsp Matcha Green Tea
    -2.5 small organic carrots (Juiced)
    -1 Fuji Apple (Juiced)
-1 Cinnamon Stick (grinded in coffee bean grinder)
-1 tbsp dried Goji Berries (grinded in coffee been grinder)
-1/2 cup fresh young coconut water with young coconut meat
-1 sweet potato (baked and cooled in fridge)
-1 handful of organic baby spinach
    -1/2 tbsp Chia seeds
    -1 tsp raisins
    -1 medium banana
    - 1/6 mamey sapote (can be optional)
    -1.5 cups Ice
Serves a happy healthy family of 4

First, I washed and pre-baked the sweet potatoes and allowed to cool. Then, I cut open a fresh young coconut, collected the water and coconut meat. I combined the coconut water and pulp with 2 cups water and chilled in fridge.

I washed all fruits and veggies. Since my blender is not able to pulverize too well, I juiced the carrots and apple. Next, I used a coffee bean grinder to grind a cinnamon stick and dried goji berries.

I added ingredients into blender starting with the softer fruits so it blends the smoothie well. I began with the banana, sweet potato, mamey sapote, handful of baby spinach, chia seeds, raisins, the ground cinnamon and goji berries, matcha green tea, and frozen blueberries on top. After all solid ingredients added (except ice), I added the coconut water and pulp, the juiced carrots and apple, and most importantly the Rice Dream Rice Drink in any flavor, for this I used Original.

Now, it is time to blend. I blended the smoothie for 20 seconds on low spend, 30 seconds on high speed, and 20 seconds back on low speed. I stopped the blender and added 1 cup ice and proceeded to blend for 20 seconds on low speed and 30 seconds on high speed. Finally, I added the rest of the ice and blended on high for approximately 30 seconds or until in desired smooth consistency. Voila! Serve and enjoy. Full of goodies for the body and is great as a meal replacement or an added supplement to a diet. Very filling, nutritious, and delicious!
