Anyone that knows me, knows that I love beauty products. Hair, skin, cosmetics, nails, I love it all. I am not picky about types or set in my ways. I love to try new things, and I love just about anything. The only thing I do not like is bad quality products.
I cannot stand beauty products(or any products) that do not perform well. Actually, not even just well, I need my products to be of superior quality. They need to work better than other products, or why else would I use them.
I have used a great deal of beauty products, so I have come to learn the differences in quality. When I first started out, I thought everything was the same, and I realize now how insane that was. Once you have tried the best products, you absolutely cannot go back to inferior brands.
One brand that have only discovered recently has fast become a favorite, with quality far above other brands that I had previously come to think highly of. Layla Cosmetics is an incredible brand.
After falling in love with their Soft Touch Polish a couple months ago, I had to get my hands on some more.
I got another incredible Softtouch Effect Nail Polish(Number 05-Cherry Diva) and I got something that I had never tried before(from any brand), gorgeous Caviar Effect Nail Art(Number 05-Bolero). Both colors are stunning. It was love at first sight.
Now I have never been very good at doing my nails, so the fact that I was able to use these at all and not look like a blind 2 year old finger painted my nails says a lot for the quality and easy of application.
Cherry Diva is so lovely. It can obviously be built up to a bold red color(while the shimmer still makes it look soft, hence the name), but if applied in a single light coat, the color is so light and delicate. I just love it. I am not crazy about dark nails.
Again, please excuse my poor polishing skills, but just look how lovely this color is. So feminine and youthful. It is flirty and fun, vibrant but not loud. It is just fabulous.
The formula is so smooth and easy to apply. It is not runny or messy. It applies evenly, cleanly and quickly. It dries quickly and layers so well. The finished result is strong and durable. They hold up to the abuse of caring for two young children and everything that comes with it. Opening things, washing dishes, scrubbing floors, whatever you throw at it, it holds up.
And as wonderful as this beautiful polish is alone, it becomes even more amazing when paired with the dazzling Caviar.
All I did was apply a second coat and dip my wet nail into a little cap(like from a body spray) filled half way with nail Caviar(it says to sprinkle in the instructions, but it was so easy with the dipping). I rolled it around a little to ensure the entire nail was covered.
It was so fast and easy(for me easier than even polishing), and the end result was breathtaking.
I LOVE this look. It is so glamorous, and it actually looks so much more polished(no pun intended) than just regular polish, on me especially. This helps to conceal my crummy polishing ability and makes my nails look like they are done well.
This is the best my nails have ever looked(except when I've had the done professionally), and I am over the moon that I could accomplish this by myself.
The finish it textured yet smooth so there is not worry of a scratching yourself(or anything else). I am quite obsessed with how cool it feels and run my nails on my lip to feel it. It's fun. It is very tough and holds up to my abuse very well.
I am so beyond impressed with Layla Nail Polish. I cannot wait to try more of the Caviar Effect, and hopefully some of the other amazing effects that Layla offers.
If you polish your nails at home(or want to) you have to try Layla Nail Polish. And even if you go to a salon, you can bring your own polish(which is a good idea because you never know who has used the salon bottles before you and that is icky), so I highly suggest using the best, which in my opinion would be Layla.
Even if you are not the best manicurist, the Caviar Effect is unbelievably easy to pull off and it looks stunning. I cannot say enough good things about it. You just have to try it. I am in love!
